Your donation will help Undocumented Migrant Fire Survivors and their families rebuild their lives
We invite you to be part of the LGBTQ+ Community's response to the wildfires in Los Angeles.
As we face the aftermath of these catastrophic wildfires, it is crucial that we unite in support of those impacted. The ongoing crisis has disrupted lives, homes, and our community's spirit.
With 29 lives tragically lost and thousands displaced, the need for immediate assistance is more urgent than ever.
RWF is dedicated to rallying support for marginalized communities affected by this disaster. RWF is partnering with local groups that are mobilizing to provided front-line aid. RWF is focusing on helping the undocumented and other vulnerable communities most impacted.
Sever thousand maids, gardeners, handyman, restaurant and retail workers are now out of jobs. Undocumented Californian fire survivors work in temporary or low-wage jobs without access to sick leave or unemployment insurance, and they do not qualify for assistance from FEMA. It is important that we help this vulnerable community that gives so much to California.
Founded in 2000, RWF is the world’s first international LGBTQ+-based humanitarian aid organization. RWF donors and volunteers make a difference in the world by helping RWF fund projects benefiting LGBTQ+ and non-LGBTQ+ people affected by natural disasters, hunger, poverty, oppression, and war.
Our work shows the world that the LGBTQ+ community can be visible and compassionate, providing leadership in humanitarian efforts to help those in need, while building bridges with others around the world who also are working to heal our planet. RWF is 100% volunteer-run.
100% of your donations will go to help Undocumented Fire Survivors of the LA Fire.
